Welcome to Rescue Beagle USA.

This blog is dedicated to Lucky, my sweet little girl who passed away in her sleep peacefully on 12-14-12. Lucky was a lemon beagle and came to us as a "rescue" when she was about 3-years old. While she was initially scared, the poor thing was all of 20-lbs (and for her size that was severely under weight) with lots of love and snacks she became the best friend a person could ever have - please give a rescue beagle a second change!

Welcome

Welcome to Beagle Rescue USA.

Lucky and I will be your guides. Lucky is a female rescue beagle, approximately 11 years-old, and weighs about 36 pounds. Lucky and I reside in Northwest New Jersey.

My goal is to develop an on-line community for beagle lovers where information about adopting and caring for your rescue beagle is shared and one that will extend past the Internet.

If you are looking to adopt a rescue beagle, on the left navigation bar I’ve listed various Beagle Rescue Groups located within the United States. Please keep in mind you also can adopt a beagle via a non-breed specific rescue group – unfortunately the length of the list prohibits its inclusion.

Since Beagles are a social breed (they enjoy the company of other dogs and people), I thought listing “beagle play groups” might be of interest. This list if found on the right navigation bar and is entitled: Beagle Meetup Groups. If I missed a group in either area, please let me know by sending me an e-mail to LightworkersUSA (@) gmail.com

Feel free to share your care advice (including products and/or services that are superior) as well as any happy tails stories (including pictures) and I will post them.

Thanks for stopping buy. I hope you find Beagle Rescue USA a resource!

Cheers,

Diane and Lucky

I'm sad to say that Lucky passed away on 12-14-12 at 10:10 AM EST. She passed in her sleep, rather unexpectedly. She was approximately 13 years-old. I'm grateful for the many wonderful years we had together. I'm also grateful that she passed on her own terms, quickly, peacefully, and without a long illness. This blog is dedicated to her memory.
